First, Get the Right Vehicle

Most winter sports require some heavy-duty equipment, like skis, snowboards, and snowmobiles. Make sure you can properly store and/or tow this equipment with a new Chevy truck or SUV from Mountain Chevy.

Second, Pick Your Destination

After you’ve got your new set of wheels, be it the Chevy Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, or another truck or SUV, head out to one of the local areas, includingRifle, Grand Junction, Denver, and Glenwood Springs.

Denver has a number of winter sports locations, including Winter Park, Vail, Loveland Ski Area, Keystone Resort, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, and Eldora Mountain Resort. Denver also offers several winter activities like festivals, art exhibits, and ice skating.

If Grand Junction is more your scene, check out Powderhorn Mountain Resort and Grand Mesa, the largest flat-topped mountain in the world.

Here in Glenwood Springs, you can visit Sunlight Mountain Resort, go snowshoeing, or try Nordic skiing.
